Articles on ASSOCIATED CONTENT!

If you want to read more about my film experiences then go to Associated Content at www.associatedcontent.com and look up my name where you will be able to read all my articles on SHUDDER, CITY GARDEN, and most recently 6 DEGREES OF DESPERATION.  Each set of articles for each production have a different agenda so make sure to take that into consideration when you are reading them.  Also, while you're there you can read the other articles I've written for the website.

 Engoy!

Working too much can be stressful

A lot of my friends have been telling me that I work too much lately.  Well, maybe I do but that's now of their business.

I have my hands in several different pots hoping that one of them actually has something in it that will ultimately satisfy my insatiable lust for something more.  I've currentlt got one film in post production (SHUDDER), one film about to go into post production (6 DEGREES OF DESPERATION), several films in production (Ed Harlaque's film, my film CITY GARDEN) and I have two documentaries about to go into principal photography, not to mention several documentaries for next year in pre-production.  I also, personally, have three screenplays that I have to finish (THE FIVE JENNIFERS, THE NOCTURNAL, and FIERCE) and several photography books that I hope to have out by next year.  I also write several columns for the e-zine Associated Content and film reviews for the e-zine Helium (when I have time) plus I hope my next article for Indie Slate magazine on my experiences on the film BAD LAND gets in the magazine soon; it's currently in the hands of the editor for possible re-writes.

Is this too much I ask you?

I don't think it's enough, since I make the schedule for most of my projects.  I have a lot of projects on my plate but with the exception of two of the three of the above mentioned film productions I make my own schedule which means I'll do what I want when I want.

I write because it relieves the stress of my personal life, which as of this moment is in total chaos in which I haven't figured out how to bring order back to it.  No mater, as long as I keep on writing and keep my mind occupied by other things I'll thrive...and the personal life will just have to continue to wait until I'm ready for it since it's on my time and I'll do what I want when I want.
